At Local 1442 we continue our long tradition of professionally representing our members; having their backs and being there for them when they need our help. We are very accessible!
When you call our Local during regular office hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you will reach a live person, NOT an answering machine. We pride ourselves in having that personal touch.

- Scholarship programs.
- Free legal representation for any member who is cited for selling alcohol to an underage customer, or if you are cited by Weights and Measures. Be sure to contact your Union Representative immediately and provide them with a copy of the citation for the union attorneys.
- Free Life Insurance, the amount ranges from $5,000.00 to $20,000.00 based on years of membership in Local 1442. This amount doubles with an Accidental Death. To be eligible for this life insurance benefit you must be a current and active dues paying member. If you should go out on a leave of absence for any reason you will need to pay your dues to maintain eligibility for this benefit. If you overstay your leave of absence and do not have the contractual right to return to your job then you should stop paying dues as you will no longer be eligible for this benefit.
- Free legal consultation for members injured on the job provided by the Law Offices of Gordon, Edelstein and Krepack. Contact our office to make an appointment to see one of their attorneys.
- Attorney referral services.

- Free Continuing Education provided to our Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
